Server Rules
These rules apply across the network — in-game, on this website, and on our Discord. Playing on Rainy Network means you accept them.
1. Unfair advantage
You may not use modifications, macros, exploits, bugs, or any third-party software or hardware to gain an unfair advantage over another player — directly or indirectly — except where explicitly permitted by these rules.
We explicitly allow Lunar Client and Badlion (Lunar receives native waypoint support on our server), OptiFine, Sodium and similar performance mods, radar-free minimaps, Replay Mod, resource packs, brightness and gamma adjustments, and toggle sprint or sneak mods. Replay Mod may be used to create cinematics and other video content; using it to view parts of the map or information players cannot normally access is treated as cheating. Any other modification may trigger our cheat detection and is classified as use at your own risk.
Software or hardware that clicks for you, aims for you, or plays for you in any form is not allowed. This includes autoclickers and macros (software or hardware), ghost clients, X-ray as a mod or resource pack, entity or chest ESP and radar, freecam, pathfinding and auto-fishing bots, world downloaders or seed tools used to locate other players' bases, and any AI-assisted input. Use of these will result in your removal from the network, in most cases permanently.
2. Server integrity
Any attempt to attack, degrade, or gain unauthorized access to network infrastructure — including DDoS attacks, crash or packet exploits, lag machines, bot floods, and phishing — results in an immediate permanent blacklist. This applies equally to threats of such attacks, including those made as jokes. Where relevant, incidents are reported to hosting providers and authorities.
3. Bugs and exploits
Bugs and exploits may be reported through a ticket on our Discord. We welcome and appreciate bug reports, and you will not be punished for one so long as you do not take advantage of the bug or spread it around. Profiting from an exploit has the opposite outcome: everything gained through it is removed, and the abuse itself is punished according to severity and history.
4. Gameplay — Clans
Clans is a competitive survival mode, and aggressive play is part of it: raiding clans whose Core is down, hunting bounties, breaking killstreaks, scouting, and betraying your own clan are all legitimate. You may not, however, glitch into claimed territory or bypass protection through any unintended mechanic; farm kills, points, streaks or bounties from alternate accounts or consenting players; or automate gameplay in any form, including AFK farming and automated fishing. Where a mechanic's intent is unclear, ask staff before using it.
5. Chat and content
You may not spam the chat — duplicate or worthless messages posted repeatedly, character walls, or letter-by-letter typing. You may not advertise unrelated servers, websites or services in-game, on this website, or through our Discord. You may, within reasonable bounds, share your own videos, streams or other creative content when it is directly related to Rainy Network. All languages are welcome, and all are moderated by the same standard.
Hate speech, racism, bigotry, sexual material, player harassment, and hateful or toxic conduct are not tolerated anywhere on the network. This applies to chat and private messages as well as usernames, skins, clan names and tags, item names and signs.
6. Impersonation and real-money trading
Impersonating a staff member, staff in general, or any well-known personality is strictly prohibited. Selling or buying in-game items, currency, accounts or perks for real money outside the official store is likewise prohibited. Trades of in-game items between players are legitimate but at your own risk — scams between players are not refunded.
7. Enforcement
Violating these rules results in a ban: the offending Minecraft account is removed from the network for a period matching the offense and your history. Repeated violations on one or more alternate accounts, ban evasion, or extreme circumstances of a first offense result in a blacklist: you are no longer permitted on the network on any account, nor on any Rainy Network platform, Discord included.
Every punishment carries a unique ID shown on your screen. If you believe a punishment is wrong, appeal through the appeal form on our Discord and include that ID; appeals are typically answered within 48 hours. We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time, and to remove any person from the network where necessary — these rules exist to guide those decisions, and the appeal form is the place to contest one.
8. Reporting
If you see someone breaking these rules, report them with /report in-game immediately after the rule break, or open a ticket on our Discord with evidence — screenshots, clips, or timestamps. Reports are visible only to staff.
9. Account security
Sharing your Minecraft account is dangerous and not recommended. The owner of an account is responsible for everything done with it, regardless of who was playing. If you suspect someone else has access to your account, change your credentials as soon as possible; if you cannot, open a Discord ticket and we can lock the account while you regain control, then unlock it for you.
